1. Obtaining a certificate of discount on fees for services in SENADI as MIPYMES*

At the end of this process, you will obtain a 50% discount certificate that you can apply on the brand registration fee.

Requirements:

• Have active RUC or RISE

• Updated email in the SRI

1. Categorization as MIPYMES:

1. Go to: https://servicios.produccion.gob.ec/rum/publico/categorizacion.jsf

2. Fill in the fields with an asterisk (*)

   • The RUC or RISE must belong to the person who will be the trademark registration applicant

3. Click in: Enviar solicitud

4. Check the email registered in the SRI for the CONFIRMATION notification and confirm the request

5. On the platform, the system will indicate your CATEGORY and inform you to print your certificate

6. When sending to Print choose destination: Save as PDF

7. Save as: REGISTRO ÚNICO DE MIPYMES

1. Download application form pressing here

2. Print it or fill it with the applicant's data in a PDF editor

3. Mark with an X the box of MIPYMES

4. Sign, scan and save as: Formulario de solicitud de descuento

5. Compose an email:

   • For: info@senadi.gob.ec

   • Cc: aguerra@senadi.gob.ec

   • Subject: CERTIFICADO DE DESCUENTO - [NOMBRE DEL SOLICITANTE O EMPRESA]

   • Message:

     Estimados Senadi:

     
     Por favor emitir certificado de descuento

     
     Adjunto documentos habilitantes

   • Attach 2 files:

     • REGISTRO ÚNICO DE MIPYMES

     • Formulario de solicitud de descuento

6. You will receive the certificate by email in a maximum of 3 working days.

7. Once the email is received, download the attachment and save as: Certificado de descuento SENADI

The certificate is the only document that enables access to the discount and must be entered within the trademark registration process.

Its validity is 1 year from its issue date, after this period you must perform the respective update following these same steps.
