5. Answering a notification uploading ALCANCE online
If you receive a notification in your Virtual Mailbox and need to answer it, you must compose a document indicating your application number (SENADI-2020-xxxx) and the name, [EXACT NAME OF THE TRADEMARK] answering the observations and sign it, then you need to scan it and upload it to the system following these steps:
Go to: https://registro.propiedadintelectual.gob.ec/solicitudes/ and log in with your username and password
Tap OTROS, select SOLICITUD DE ALCANCE
Inside the request:
Tipo de Alcance:
Select opción 5: MODIFICACIONES O RECTIFICACIONES A SOLICITUDES
Modificación o rectificación de tipo:
Select OTROS
In * Número de Trámite, enter your application number SENADI-2021-xxxx, tap VERIFICAR
Descripción:
Write: respuesta a notificación
Adjuntar archivo del escrito legal: (The signed document will be uploaded here with the response to the notification with the corresponding clarifications) You must attach a file with a .pdf extension, with a maximum size of 16 MB.
Documentos Faltantes: (Any document requested in the notification will be uploaded here, such as identity cards, nominations or logos in better resolution) You must attach one or more files with a .pdf extension, with a maximum size of 16 MB.
Tap Guardar
Go to Solicitudes Pendientes y Finalizadas: look for your request and then tap Editar (blue icon in the form of a pencil on a book)
Tap Vista previa
Go again to Solicitudes Pendientes y Finalizadas: look for your request and then tap Enviar
Only after selecting Guardar and Vista previa, the button Send will appear. Make sure to follow the steps.
Once you have clicked Send, you will have finished
Go again to Solicitudes Pendientes y Finalizadas, and check the Estado of your request, it should say Finalizada
